Parks & Recreation

The Parks and Recreation Commissioner is active in short and long range planning for all parks and public spaces. This includes searching for and applying to state and federal grants, purchasing new playground equipment and basic upkeep of parks.

The current Parks and Recreation Commissioner is Jessica Blevins. She has lived in Sadieville for close to eight and half years, has been married going on fifteen years, and has two boys who attend Northern Elementary School. Besides raising her children and serving the city, Jessica is a member of the Northern Elementary PTA board holding the Family Engagement Chair, volunteers for the Sun Meals through the Amen House, and is a member and teacher at Sadieville Christian Church.
