Sadieville is conveniently located near exit 136 of Interstate 75, 25 miles north of Lexington and 57 miles south of Cincinnati, Ohio. It is in Scott County 12 miles north of Georgetown, the county seat.

For a perfect view of the northbound and southbound trains, it doesn't get much better! Sadieville is split down the middle by the railroad. Park on Main Street to catch both northbound and southbound trains. Watch them cross the railroad bridge that was built in 1911, crossing over Pike Street.

Kentucky Horse Park - Exit 120 from I75 (16 miles)
The Kentucky Horsepark is owned and operated by the Commonwealth of Kentucky. This one of a kind park is all about celebrating our relationship with the horse. Annual Attendance is over one million. Take a horse drawn trolley tour of the park, meet the Hall of Champions residents, visit the Breeds Barn to meet and greet the different horse breeds, and meet the Equine Officers at the Mounted Patrol Barn. There are two museums to visit, the International Museum of the Horse and the American Saddlebred Museum. The little ones will love the Kids Barn, where they can have hands on activities and learn about the basics of horses. Visit the Gift Shop for some unique, equestrian themed mementos and grab lunch at the Iron Works Cafe. The main season runs from March 19 - November 3.
