The AMEN House in partnership with the City of Sadieville and Scott County Women’s Club are offering expanded coverage of AMEN House Direct.

From the Executive Director, Michele Carlisle:

“AMEN House Direct is a food delivery service that connects eligible families with food provided by the AMEN House. This program is already available in your area for homebound individuals, but we appreciate the distance between the AMEN House food pantry and the heart of Sadieville can be a barrier to food for your family. This new partnership makes it possible for us to expand this service to any family experiencing food insecurity. If you live within the Sadieville City limits and are struggling with choices between paying bills and purchasing food, this program is here to help.

If you think this program would be helpful for your family:

  1. Register with the AMEN House. Registration can be done in person at the AMEN House or during COVID-19, the USDA is allowing screenings to be done over the phone
  2. Request AMEN House Direct food delivery services for you family. You can do this by calling 502-863-5305 weekdays 9am-12pm or Tuesdays 9am-3pm

We are targeting the delivery service to begin early 2021. While we try very hard to connect every request with a volunteer delivery driver, requesting delivery does not guarantee food delivery. Requests will be processed on a first-come first-served basis.

Together, we can end hunger in Scott County!”
